Family Camp!

Here is an older photo of a naturalist/parent duo helping a student catch critters in the garden at Shady Creek Family Camp! These collaborations are what helps make Shady Creek and its community so magical. Garden class is always a fun and educational experience for adults and kids alike, and every critter caught serves as a teachable moment for the students. For all you concerned animal lovers out there, though, don’t worry, critter safety is the top priority in this activity! We encourage you to spend time in your gardens today, and try to find some critters of your own. There are likely a few that have constructed their habitats inside your gardens!
